Game Notes
The French infantry have now closed with the Spanish left flank.
31st brigade take first artillery casualties, and move close to the Spanish infantry to avoid further artillery fire. Harispe joins them to give them a better chance of making their compulsory morale. In doing so he has moved out of command range of his own artillery, who will not be able to fire next turn.
Leading French infantry brigade have won the first phase of the skirmish fight and are now in line ready to advance into volley range next turn.
Rule 7 deals with artillery fire
